Description
This holiday house enjoys a quiet location in the heart of the old part of the town of Corciano. The house is right by the old town walls, away from the road, and is nestled into a picturesque landscape. The house is sheltered from curious onlookers and is the ideal place for a relaxing holiday.
The holiday house is surrounded on three sides by a terrace-shaped garden, which is partially paved. The garden affords a lovely view of the valley plain and the surrounding hills and is furnished with a sofa, two armchairs, a table and two deckchairs. There are some shaded spots in the garden.
The living space is spread across two floors. On the ground floor (around 40m²) there are a kitchen and a living room with a fireplace, a sofa bed for two people, a dining table and a television. The kitchen is equipped with an oven, gas stove, kettle, dishwasher and fridge with freezer compartment. On the ground floor there are also a small guest WC and a storage room. Old, narrow and rather steep stairs lead up to the first floor (around 40m²), where there are a bedroom with a double bed, a study with a desk, and a bathroom with a shower. It is possible to add a folding bed to the bedroom or the study. The stone interior walls on the ground floor and on the first floor create a cosy atmosphere. The terracotta tiles on the ground floor are handmade.
The streets of the historic town centre are narrow, but nevertheless easily navigable by car. The holiday house is the ideal starting point for trips. You can visit Perugia, Lake Trasimeno, Assisi, Umbria, Rome, Florence, Siena and Cortona. There are many cultural, gastronomic and musical events in the surrounding area, such as Agosto Corcianese, Trasimeno Music Festival, Festival dei Due Mondi in Spoleto, Umbria Jazz in Perugia, Festival Internazionale Giovani Concertisti in Castelrigone, Trasimeno Blues - Comuni del Lago Trasimeno, Sagra Musicale Umbra in Perugia, Cantine Aperte, Eurochocolate. Nearby there are also restaurants and bars.
