At the residence there are playgrounds and sportsactivities for children and teenagers. In the summer there is also a bar, a small supermarket, films which are shown every few days and a church (Catholic) with a mass on Saturday and Sunday. The Archaeological Park dates back to the 5th century BC and includes the area of the Nymphaeum, the ancient Temple of Apollo, the Roman amphitheater and the quarries (stone quarries). Today combines culture and entertainment, with classic performances of Greek tragedies and comedies, but also opera and dance. The beaches of Syracuse open along the coast south of the city, over the ark of the great harbor. Beaches of fine white sand and beautiful cliffs, including those of Fontane Bianche and Arenella, with a limpid sea, a real paradise.
