Providing an idyllic holiday base, close to the cultural-corporate venues of Villa D’Este, Villa Erba and Villa Olmo, this 3-storey villa is perfect for year-round enjoyment and comfortably accommodates groups of 10. Internally, the villa benefits from free WiFi throughout and air-conditioning, except for on the ground floor.

To the villa’s inviting ground floor, a spacious living room with flat screen SAT TV and full kitchen features. A restful guest bedroom with 2 single beds is accompanied by a family shower room (in effect providing an accessible self-contained apartment).

A flight of 16 external steps leads to the villa’s 1st floor, where an air-conditioned lake view living room with kitchen diner provides an effortless flow for entertaining, with direct access to the terrace with jacuzzi and swimming pool (open 1 June– 30 September).

A second flight of 16 steps leads to the 2nd floor, where 2 air-conditioned bedrooms are provided. A lake view double bedroom with TV and Juliette balcony is complemented by a lake view bedroom with 2 single beds, TV and Juliette balcony. The 2nd floor is also serviced by a full family bathroom.

Above, a loft-style 3rd floor features a 4th bedroom with air-conditioning, double bed, low ceiling and en-suite shower room.

Outside, the attractive period villa enjoys a private garden with alfresco dining terrace, BBQ and a set of sun loungers. These accompany a seasonal outdoor Jacuzzi and private pool (as mentioned, both can be enjoyed from 1 May – 30 September). A private garage and extra uncovered parking space are to hand.

The villa enjoys a convenient location along the main lakeside road of Laglio, placing guests 1-2 minutes’ walk from local amenities. Please note a car is recommended for this timeless holiday location.

Location

The 3-storey villa is situated along the main lakeside road ‘Via Vecchia Regina’, in the picturesque village of Laglio. Guests are placed 1-2 minutes’ walk away from the authentic local Osteria Restaurant; the ‘La Locanda’ Restaurant and a small supermarket. The fashionable resort village of Laglio provides the perfect holiday base from which to unwind and explore.

The strategic location also places guests 13-16 minutes’ drive away from the famous Villa D’Este hotel and golf club, which along with nearby Villa Erba and Villa Como, showcases an annual programme of elite corporate and cultural events.

The famous Central Lake attractions and city amenities of Como are within equal driving distance from the villa, 23-25 minutes’ away. For those flying in, Milan Malpensa is 49 minutes’ drive away, whilst Milan Bergamo is 78 minutes’ drive away.Please note that the pool is open from the 1st of June 2024 to the 30th of September 2024
