Description
Description
Modern apartment in the heart of the lively Quartieri Spagnoli and a stone's throw from the world-famous Maradona Mural, a work by Mario Filardi from 1990, the year Napoli won the second Scudetto thanks in part to the prowess of Diego Armando Maradona.
The apartment is located in one of the city's most characteristic neighborhoods, full of restaurants and places to enjoy all the typical delicacies of Naples. The house is on the first floor of a building with an elevator. The entrance opens onto the living area furnished with a sofa, a dining table and a TV, and an open kitchen equipped with an oven and a kettle and decorated with colorful tiles. The sleeping area consists of two bedrooms, one double with a queen-size bed and one triple with a queen-size bed and a single bed.
A bathroom with shower completes the layout.
Free wifi, air conditioning and heat pump heating will be available in the accommodation.
*Upon arrival or a few days before arrival it may be required to pay a tourist tax, which varies according to local regulations. You will find your reservation details within the Guest Area of Wonderful Italy.
We also offer our guests authentic experiences of living in contact with the locals. If interested, please contact us and we will be happy to help you create your perfect holiday discovering the beauty of Italy.
"When you go to Naples you cry twice: when you arrive and when you leave," they say. Naples is a unique city, to be experienced walking through the alleys, smelling the scent of gastronomic delicacies in the air and admiring its rich artistic and monumental heritage.
Naples has a distinctive culinary tradition for its famous Neapolitan pizza, and the art of its pizza makers has been declared an intangible heritage of humanity by UNESCO.
Strolling through Spaccanapoli, the street that cuts the city in half, one traverses its thousand-year history thanks to the presence of ancient palaces and churches, such as the Duomo di Napoli and the Maschio Angioino. If there is one place that symbolises Naples, it is Piazza del Plebiscito, now a symbol of the new 'Neapolitan Renaissance' where tourists come to admire its grandeur and two jewels: the neoclassical colonnade of the church of San Francesco di Paola and the Royal Palace. Today it is also possible to visit 'the underground city', or the so-called 'belly of Naples', which served the Neapolitans as a refuge during the bombing raids, where tourists can walk through the Greco-Roman aqueduct, the air-raid shelters and finally visit the War Museum.
Particularly not to be missed is the San Severo Chapel, which houses the sculpture of the Veiled Christ, one of the most fascinating and mysterious works to be seen in Naples, the work of Giuseppe Sanmartino.
Naples Central Station is less than 3 km from the flat, while Naples Airport is an easy 30-minute drive away.
