La Locanda San Lorenzo stands on a hilltop in the most beautiful part of the Tevere Valley. Surrounded by lush greenery, woods, and rolling hills, it offers breathtaking views of the valley and overlooks Orte, a charming medieval city. The country house, which is La Locanda San Lorenzo, is the perfect setting for your children, who can play outdoors on the grass, while the family enjoys the relaxed atmosphere of the countryside. Small pets are welcome and comfortable accommodations are provided for your four-legged friends. Guests of La Locanda San Lorenzo stay in one of three splendid apartments. The furniture and colour schemes have been chosen with care. Each apartment has its own private entrance and is completely independent, with a kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, heating, television, and Internet access. The apartments are spacious and luminous, with the upper floors offering a panoramic view of rare beauty, and the lower floors leading out into the garden. Because it is located near Orte Scalo, an important railway junction, La Locanda San Lorenzo is an ideal departure point towards various tourist destinations in the regions of Lazio, Tuscany, and Umbria, the “Green Heart of Italy”, famous for its dense green olive oils, and white Orvieto wine. The house is also only a short drive from the A1 Roma-Firenze highway, exiting the city of Orte, thus providing easy access to places of historical and cultural interest in the region. Travelling along the scenic routes, you can visit some of the most beautifully kept medieval towns and villages. Both the highway and the railway are directly linked to Fiumicino International Airport in Rome.
