Situated in the peaceful semi-rural village of Pianello, along the desirable western shore of Lake Como, this beautifully furnished holiday property features luxury contemporary accommodation over two floors, with a spacious modernist open plan living room comprising a comfortable L-shaped sofa and flat-screen TV for guests to relax and unwind.
A stylish dining area is situated next to the newly-fitted kitchen which is beautifully designed with half wood half white units and granite worktops. The kitchen is ideal for a comfortable self-catering stay with a gas hob, coffee machine and oven, dishwasher and washing machine fitted and containing all the desired appliances.
From the living area, a sunken tiled level provides a large dressing room with cupboards. Lovely glass French doors along the far wall of the living room provide plenty of light and open out onto a fabulous sunny terrace ideal for daytime sunbathing and alfresco dining! Outdoor furniture is provided and wonderful views over the charming town with partial lake and mountain views can be enjoyed.
From the living area, wooden open tread stairs lead to the upper floor which boasts romantic Swiss chalet-style sleeping accommodation, with high sloping white-washed ceilings and inviting and bright luxury interiors. The master bedroom features a spacious contemporary suite with a modernist double bed, bedside table and wardrobe.
A second bedroom is also superbly decorated and furnished with two beautiful single beds and bedside tables.
Conveniently the property features two luxury bathrooms, with the principal bathroom tiled with beautiful rough slate tiles for a contemporary feel and also featuring a power shower with all the desired sanitary ware. The second bathroom is also tiled in beautiful naturalistic tiles and features a toilet, wash basin and bidet.
The property features also a shared swimming pool.
From the hillside property, the peaceful semi-rural village can be enjoyed, with a bus service operating from the town to the north and south of the lake. Guests with a car will be well placed to explore the lake at their leisure, with nearby Cremia offering Kite-surfing, a sandy beach and an excellent local family-friendly Pizzeria and the nearby picturesque resort town of Menaggio boasting cafe-lined piazzas, lake view restaurants, boutique shops, family-friendly Lido and a wide choice of amenities and transport links including a car and passenger ferry service to Bellagio and Varenna. The property does not have private parking, there is only public parking.
Local sport activities include swimming, sailing, kite-surfing, hiking, cycling, golf, horse-riding and quad-biking. The central lake attractions of Villa Carlotta, Villa Balbianello and the Tremezzina lakeshore are all easily accessible from Pianello by car or by bus.Please note that the pool is open from the 1st of June 2024 to the 30th of September 2024
