Description

Greenchalets offers wooden chalets or mobile homes to rent by the beautiful Lago Di Lugano in the north of Italy. The chalets are situated at Camping International in the village Porlezza. Around the lake district there are many possibilities to make wonderful daytrips. Furthermore, all chalets dispose of a roofed veranda, which can be closed completely, being ideal during spring or autumn when nights get colder. These chalets are completely made of wood and have a very pleasant ambiance. Greenchalets are situated everywhere in the park, near the lake as well as near the swimming pool. The wooden chalets offer room to five persons. There’s a bedroom with a double bed and a bedroom with three single beds, including a bunk bed. All the chalets have continental quilts and pillows. Please bring your own sheets, duvet covers and pillowcase. The interior is modern and fully equipped. The chalets have an open kitchen with a gas cooker with four hobs and a fridge. All rooms have a laminate flooring. The bathroom is complete with shower, toilet and washbasin. All chalets have an indoor veranda. The chalets also have a television set with a satellite dish aerial. There’s plenty room to park your car next to the chalets. Some of these chalets are situated directly at the lakeside. Indoor veranda with garden furniture which can be covered with tarpaulin. Porlezza is a small, picturesque village with nice restaurants and a boulevard at which you can taste delicious Italian ice cream or relish in drinking a Prosecco at one of the beautiful terraces. Porlezza is centrally situated in the North and therefore an excellent home base for excursions, hiking and cycling trips. There are many more possibilities are in the neighbourhood of Porlezza: Definitely worth a visiting is visiting Menággio or the peninsula Bellágio at Lake Como by boat. Or visit one of the splendid gardens near the chic Lake Como. Marcote is at a 10 kilometer visit from Lugano: it is a stunning tropical garden at the peninsula. It can be reached by car or by boat. The village of Gandria at Lake Lugano is also worth visiting. This village has been built against the slope of the mountain and has narrow and steep alleys. Some very special and magnificent mountains should be visited as well: e.g. Monte Sighignola or Monte Generose, 1,704m, a panorama mountain near Lugano, which can be reached on foot or by a train especially used for tourists. Every Saturday there is a lovely market in Porlezza and every Wednesday a large market in Luino at Lago Maggiore. Every chalet has an information map with ample possibilities for visits. The region has a rich historical and cultural background. Around the lake district there are many possibilities to make wonderful daytrips. In less than 15 minutes by car you’re at Lago di Como. But even Milano, Lugano, Como and the beautiful mountaintops are within reach by car. Porlezza is a quiet small village by the lake where you can find nice restaurants and shops. 31005023
