Description

The house stands detached on the outskirts of the village Santa Domenica with its typical Calabrian atmosphere, at the end of a cul-de-sac, with direct access on foot to the sea. The well-known tourist resort Tropea, the gem of the Tyrrhenian Sea, is only 3.5km away. Just to the north and south are Riaci and Formicoli with great public beaches, directly accessible by car. The very southern location invites you to spend long winters here. Make yourselves comfortable in our house from December to April and enjoy the countless additional sunny days (please enquire about special prices for long-term rentals). The ground floor has a living room with a kitchen, a kind of conservatory (with a TV), two bedrooms, a storage corner and stairs. The first floor comprises two bedrooms, a bathroom and the enormous terrace, of course with a view of the sea and Stromboli. Next to this terrace there is a veranda at ground level with a grill area, as well as a big garden. The house is at the end of a cul-de-sac and can only be accessed rather curiously the wrong way down a one-way street, perhaps the only road in the whole of Europe where this is permitted… We have practically private access to the sea, directly on foot under a passageway, about 8 minutes down. And to the rear there is the village Kumarakanda with bars and shopping facilities. In the evening you can meet on the square for ice cream and strolling. 73379
