Attic with terrace a few steps from the sea with a beautiful view of Ortigia.

To access the attic, located on the second floor, guests must cross the terrace, shared with another apartment, which is equipped with a gazebo, a table, some chairs and a rocking chair, and from where they can enjoy a fantastic view of Ortigia. The living room has a single sofa bed, a TV and a desk. A door leads to the dining room, equipped with a table and a small kitchenette, a refrigerator, a microwave and a kettle. A bedroom completes the apartment, equipped with a queen-size bed and clothes tack, and a bathroom with a shower.

Internet connection, washing machine, air conditioning and heating will be at guests’ disposal.

For lovers of relaxation and the sea, eastern Sicily and the area surrounding Syracuse offer everything one could wish for. Starting from the ancient Greek city and heading south, the best-equipped and most beautiful beaches to explore are Minareto, Fanusa, Arenella, and Fontane Bianche, whose name derives from the natural freshwater springs and the particular white color of the sand. On the island of Ortigia, you will also find equipped solariums (Zefiro and Nettuno) and a small free beach called Cala Rossa. Further south, some 30 km away, we find some beautiful unspoiled and inaccessible beaches, including Calamosche, Vendicari with its Natural Fauna Oasis, and the beautiful San Lorenzo. For culture enthusiasts, the Greek theatre of Syracuse and the entire archaeological park with the Ear of Dionysius, a cave carved into the limestone in the shape of a human ear, the Paolo Orsi museum, and the Latomie dei Cappuccini, as well as Ortigia itself with its historical and cultural beauty as well as its landscape, are worth a visit. Not to be overlooked is Noto, the seafront with the tuna fishery of Avola, and finally the seaside village of Marzamemi. In short, Sicily is a land to explore and its natural and cultural beauties are treasures to fill your eyes with.

Catania Fontanarossa Airport is a 50-minute drive from the accommodation.
