Its position inside the Gulf of Castellammare makes it an ideal starting point to visit most of north-western Sicily. It is about 25 km from the international airport of Palermo "Falcone e Borsellino" and about 35 km from the city of Palermo, the capital of Sicily and renowned city of art, famous for its Arab, Norman and Swabian roots. Trappeto is also an oasis of peace, a small coastal village where you can find fish, fruit and fresh vegetables.
