Situated in the grounds of the historic Villa Capoana in an exclusive and comfortable modern day residence, this fabulous holiday home provides the ideal escape on Lake Como, enjoying a prime location from the lakeshore and just a short walk or drive from the famous resort town of Varenna.

The contemporary apartment is the perfect choice for a luxury couple’s getaway or alternatively comfortably sleeps up to 4 guests if required. A bright and spacious open plan living area enjoys a wonderful fresh and welcoming ambience, with French doors opening directly out to a private terrace for alfresco dining.

The living area comprises a stylish tan leather sofa with flat screen TV for guest’s entertainment and a contemporary indoor dining area as well as the outdoor alfresco furniture provides the perfect place for enjoying delicious meals during your self-catering stay.

A sleek and spacious fully-equipped kitchen provides all the desired home-from-home appliances including a gas hob, oven, coffee machine, kettle and microwave for guest’s use.

A spacious and peaceful and spacious master double bedroom to the back of the property provides the ideal place to unwind at the end of a long day sight-seeing and French doors also open out to a private back terrace also for guest’s use and enjoyment. Additional guests may be accommodated to the double sofa bed in the living area.

The modern fitted bathroom provides guests with a power shower, wash basin with vanity mirror, WC, bidet and washing machine.

From the apartment the ground level of the residence can be reached by a flight of 12 steps and free public parking is situated just 25m away. Some of the historical features of the villa grounds still exist and provide additional beauty and splendour to the surroundings, with a magnificent classical style grotto fountain and the original Fiume-latte river still flowing through the grounds with the same energy and appearance as first described by Leonardo di Vinci.

The charming lakefront village of Fiumelatte boasts a convenient grocery shop, restaurant, bakery and train station offering a frequent Lecco-Milan service.

Varenna is just a short walk away and boasts a picturesque haven in which to relax and explore, with the famous Villa Monastero gardens, the medieval Castello di Vezio and the timeless cobbled street which lead past ancient churches to café-lined lakefronts and picturesque vistas. A fast and reliable car and passenger ferry service also operates form Varenna, making the highlights of the other famous ‘golden triangle’ towns of Bellagio and Menaggio easily accessible during your stay.
