With its strategic location, it is an excellent starting point to explore the city as it is close to many vaporetto stops that will take you to St. Mark's Square, Rialto, the Lido, or directly to the airport. It is also excellent for short stays, as it is located 350m from Piazzale Roma (crossing two small bridges) and from the Santa Lucia train station (one bridge only). The Sestiere di Santa Croce area is also one of the most characteristic and residential areas of the city, where you can find excellent restaurants and bars.
