Description

The villa built around 1920 is in a lovely sunny location right above Domaso, on the west side of Lake Como, offering its visitors a breathtaking 180° view. The villa was completely renovated in 2011/12, preserving many original features, and is available for short-term lets. The villa has a large garden (ca. 500m²), a generous roofed terrace (ca. 100m²) with a wrought-iron table and chairs, a grill and a relaxation area with deckchairs, an outdoor shower, a pool (8 x 4m) and a hot tub. The villa is spread over three floors. The main villa is on the ground floor and first floor, while this property in the attic is an independent apartment with a modern kitchen and a living room with a double sofa bed, two double bedrooms (each with a double bed 190 x 200cm) and two bathrooms with a shower, washbasin and WC. One of the bathrooms also has a washing machine. The children’s beds are free and suitable for children up to 3-4 years old. The Wi-Fi connection in the house is free. There is a path leading to the village Domaso below, as well as the village Vercana above. Here you can find pizzerias, restaurants, supermarkets, bars, ice cream stalls and shops. It is easy to get to the towns Como, Lecco and Milan by car, boat, bus or train, as well as the nearby Valtellina valley. Sports enthusiasts can choose between surfing, kite surfing, waterskiing, sailing, tennis and golf, hiring a boat to explore the beauty around the lake, or go on wonderful walks or cycle rides in the mountains or along the shore. The renovation preserved the typical art nouveau style of the villas at Lake Como from the early 20th century and has been partially restored, but the attic was provided with practical furniture and modern technology. 013239-CNI-00055
