Description

The villa built around 1920 is in a beautiful and sunny location right above Domaso, on the west side of Lake Como, offering its visitors a breathtaking 180° view. The villa was completely renovated in 2011/12, preserving many original features. The villa has a big garden (ca. 500m2), a generous, roofed terrace (ca. 100m²) with a table and chairs made of wrought iron, a grill and a relaxation area with deckchairs, an outdoor shower and a pool (8 x 4m). Those who simply want to relax don’t need anything more: the villa offers pure relaxation, and due to the fabulous location you can enjoy the sun from the morning until the evening. The detached villa is spread over three floors: the ground floor has a spacious kitchen with modern appliances, a big living room with a double sofa bed, a double bedroom (bed 190 x 200cm), and a bathroom with a shower, washbasin and WC. Stone stairs lead up to the second floor, with two duble bedrooms, each with a double bed measuring 190 x 200cm, their own bathroom, and a lovely balcony with a great view of the lake. The attic has an independent apartment with a modern kitchen and a living room with a double sofa bed, two bedrooms each with a double bed measuring 190 x 200cm, and two bathrooms with a shower, washbasin and WC. One of the bathrooms also has a washing machine. The children’s beds are free and suitable for children up to 3-4 years old. Wireless Internet access is free. It is easy to get to the village of Domaso below and the village of Vercana above along a walking path. There you can find pizzerias, restaurants, supermarkets, bars, icecream shops and other shops. It is easy to get to the towns of Como, Lecco and Milan by car, hydrofoil, bus or train. Sports enthusiasts can choose between surfing, kite surfing, waterskiing, sailing, tennis, golf, hiring a boat to explore the beauty of the lake, or lovely walks and mountain biking tours in the mountains or by the lakeside. The owners can offer a range of services on request, such as restaurant bookings, hairdresser or beautician appointments, intermediate cleaning, laundry services, shopping service and arranging Taina or Shiatsu massages at the villa (also relaxing massages). The completed renovated preserved the typical Jugendstil of the Lake Como villas, from the early 20th century: the paintings on the walls and ceilings, antique furniture in the bedoroms, internal doors and original stone stairs.
