You will find this forest house at the edge of the forest in a quiet spot near the village of Appelscha. It is cosily furnished with a cozy wood stove. Downstairs is a 2-person bedroom and upstairs are two spacious 1-person rooms. In the large garden, you will always find a wonderfully sheltered spot in the sun and you can hear the birds chirping to your heart's content. You can bring your dog. Appelscha is located in the heart of the Frisian forests. Around Appelscha you will find two national parks. The south side is the Drents Friese Wold and on the north side Fochteloerveen. The park is one of the few untouched peat bogs in the Netherlands. You can enjoy cycling in the woods around Appelscha. For example, drive through Dwingelderveld National Park and visit small villages such as Havelte, Diever, Vledder or Dwingeloo. Lake Canada is 6 km from the cottage, where you can take a refreshing dip in the summer. Do you prefer a swimming pool? Then the forest bath in Appelscha is recommended. A day out with the kids? Traffic and amusement park DuinenZathe is 2 km from the house. For golf enthusiasts, the 9-hole golf course "de Hildenberg" is nearby. There is a pantry with an oven and a washing machine.
