Description
This house is in a quiet location on a small road with very little traffic within a holiday housing complex. The nearest neighbour is a farm about 100-200 meters from the house.
The house has a beautiful, well-maintained garden (850 m2) with mature trees. The gardener regularly mows the lawn. The gardening equipment, outdoor furniture, sun shades and garden games are kept in the shed. There is also a charcoal grill. Enjoy the terrace, facing the garden. In front of the house is a large garage with two car parking spaces in front of it.
The house has double glazing and has very efficient insulation. The 100 m² house can accommodate up to five people. At the heart of the house is the large living and dining room with a gas stove and open fireplace, built on the old mill stone. The house has a total of three bedrooms in the attic, with relatively steep wooden stairs leading up to it. The first “Sasput” bedroom is furnished with a large double bed (2 x 80 x 200cm). The “middle bedroom”, a walk-through room, has a single bed (100 x 200cm), while the “Schelde” bedroom has two single beds (100 x 200cm) and a cot. The house has a shower room and a separate toilet. The kitchen is equipped with all the essentials, including a dishwasher, a gas stove and oven, a microwave, coffee machine, toaster, egg boiler etc. In the entrance area (Dutch: “Beikeuken”) there is a washing machine with a tumble dryer.
This holiday home is located on the estuary of the Western Scheldt, in between Breskens and Hoofdplaat in Zeeland.
It is about 300 - 400 meters to the Western Scheldt. It is not for swimming, but rather lends itself to walking and bicycling. The sandy beach is about five kilometres from the house in Breskens. The area is beautiful all year round. We highly recommend a visit to Brügge and Gent. By car, it is a 30 - 45 minute drive. . Knokke nearby is great for shopping. One of the region's best restaurants, the "Kromme Watergang" is within walking distance of the house. Other great restaurants and shops can be found in Breskens und Oostburg. Breskens' fish hall and yacht harbour are definitely worth a visit.
