The Twente area is great for long walks and bicycle trips. If you want to take a nice day trip, take the steam train from Haaksbergen to Boekeloo to visit the salt museum. Only 15 km away is the city of Enschede with various pubs, a cinema, and a go-kart track. You will find restaurants only 200 m from the home and supplies 1 km away. The home has a garden with furniture and a terrace with a barbecue. It is child-friendly and has a children’s bed and high chair. You're allowed to bring up to 3 pets for a fee of EURO 25 per pet for the duration of your stay. You can also rent a horse from the stables at EURO 20 per horse per night. The Enschede Airport Twente is 28 km away.
