Only 2 minutes to the beach! Your vacation can start here immediately. A dream in the south with spectacular sea view. This bright, spacious apartment (60 m²) with one bedroom, a living-lounge and a fully equipped kitchen is ideal for 2 persons.
Enjoy your Algarve vacation on the top floor of the well-maintained building with elevator, own private balcony (3rd floor) u. large shared roof terrace (4th floor).
Fiber optic internet with high speed wifi (100 Mbit/s) is available. With Wi-Fi, TV (Portuguese program), DVD & HiFi system.
The bedroom with double bed (approx. 1.4m x 2m) is spacious and like the living / dining room south facing towards the sun and sea. In the living-lounge there is a sofa bed which can be extended to approx. 1,4m x 2m if needed.
The recently modernized large kitchen offers with many new kitchen appliances everything you need for cooking: 4-burner gas stove, oven, microwave, toaster, large refrigerator (with large ice compartment), Dolce Gusto capsule espresso machine, classic coffee maker, dishwasher, washing machine and much more.
In the comfortable daylight bathroom with bathtub and bidet we provide a hairdryer.
Particularly attractive in Luz (in Portuguese "light") are the morning and evening moods, which are gorgeous on the private balcony (3rd floor) or on the communal roof terrace (4th floor).
Perfect infrastructure - everything just around the corner:
Even if you want to make a vacation without a car, the place offers many possibilities. The nearest rocky beach with an idyllic sand cove is reached in 3 minutes. The large bathing beach is only 7 minutes by the beautiful beach promenade.
A magazine shop with beach items / tobacco / beverages is located directly in the building. Furthermore, two other supermarkets with delicatessen & international products, a large organic supermarket and a pharmacy in 5 minutes proximity.
Boredom does not come true in Praia da Luz by the perfect mixture of former fishing village and town. Many restaurants, cafes, bars, sports bars and clubs are within walking distance. Also a bank with cash machine is in about 100m distance. And in an emergency, even a dentist in the house and a doctor's office is right around the corner.
The interesting town of Lagos or the fishing village Burgau can be reached quickly by the bus stop just 150m away. Even without a car, our apartment is the perfect place for relaxing beach life, water sports, boat trips, sailing, hiking, jogging, bike tours, horseback riding, golf and much more.
By car, scooter or bicycle (rental directly at the bus stop), our apartment in Praia da Luz is ideally located for excursions to the many other beaches and places of interest. Lagos is only 10 minutes by car, Burgau is 5 minutes away, and Sagres can be reached in 25 minutes. You can park without charges before and behind the house.
We would like to inform our guests that, unfortunately, there is construction work next to this accommodation and there may be noise between 8am and 7pm. We are sorry for the inconvenience!
A natural phenomenon in the whole village of Praia da Luz is the rare occurrence of sea smell through the drains in the bath at a very specific constellation of wind direction and sea tide level, but then again it is not noticeable for months.
Unfortunately we have no influence on the nature with weather, wind and sea tides. The simplest solution in case of a sea smell in the bathroom is to leave the bathroom window slightly open and close the bathroom door.
NOTE: A damaged deposit of 200€ is required before check-in - we hold the deposit in your credit card (at arrival or one day before) and will release it up to 7 days after your check-out. Please make sure you are aware of this refundable damaged deposit before your arrival. The last thing we want is misunderstandings!
Airbnb is no longer holding the security deposit and allow us to collect it directly from the guest. This information appears when you are confirming the booking. So, all the bookings (including airbnb) must pay the refundable damage deposit before or at check-in.
