This holiday villa is located in the lovely village of Rubiães, just a short drive from the town of Paredes de Coura and also from the attractive roman riverside town of Ponte de Lima.Set in an elevated position overlooking a green valley, this Portugal holiday accommodation will provide the perfect base for a great family holiday and to explore the delightful unspoilt Minho region. Ample sunbathing terraces, lawns and flowerbeds surround the pool (12 X 6.5 metres). The depth is from 1.45 to 2.20 metres. Pool side shower, excellent covered barbecue area, toilet, games room with pool table, table tennis and football table. Main HouseGround floor: Excellent fully fitted kitchen with door leading onto large patio. Dining room with table to seat up to 12 people. Spacious living room with comfortable seating and sat. TV. Shower room.Upper floor: Master double bedroom with ensuite bathroom. Door opening onto covered balcony. Living room with sofas, open fireplace, satellite TV, DVD player and music centre. Doors leading onto covered balcony overlooking the patio and two bedroom cottage. Couple of steps leading up to bedrooms wing - three twin bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms and doors leading onto the balcony that runs the full length of the house. Delightful views over the valley. Steps leading down to the pool area. Covered terrace with table and chairs.?CottageOne double and one twin bedroom each with an ensuite bathroom. Each room has its own entrance door making it suitable for two families. Shops - Minimarket in the village, next to the Café (on main road). Open daily from 8 am to 7 pm. Closed on Sundays.Various supermarkets, cafés and a bakery in the village, about 8 kilometres away. Restaurants - Normal restaurant hours are as follows: Lunch: 12 pm to 2.30 pm / Dinner: 8 pm to 10.30 pmThere are several restaurants in the nearest town, Pareders de Coura.Banks - Nearest bank is in the village centre. Open Monday to Friday from 8 am to 3 pm. Cash machines available 24 hours.Nearest Petrol Station - About 2 kilometres away, towards the village centre. The furnishings are of a very high standard, with attractive decor throughout the house. In addition to the main house - which dates back to the XVII century -there is a new building with 3 bedrooms and delightful views over the swimming pool and valley. The living area is beautifully decorated with comfortable seating and doors leading onto a large patio ideal for alfresco dining. Each of the six bedrooms is privileged to its own ensuite bathroom. Outside, the well maintained garden with lawns, chestnut, orange and cherry trees is set out on different levels with terraces leading down to the large swimming pool. The barbecue area is superb and fitted with all you need to prepare the meals. In addition to the private swimming pool, guests have the use of a games room with table tennis, table football and pool table - a delight for aduls and children.
