Description
Location
Typical Majorcan farmhouse located in the countryside close to the outskirts of Calonge; it enjoys with wonderful open views across the fields and down to the sea in the distance. Tanca is located very close to the facilities and amenities you need to spend a great holiday. The lovely and small village Calonge is about 800 m. away with local shops, a supermarket and some really nice restaurants. The tourist Cala D'Or with several sandy coves, it’s seemingly never ending choice of restaurants and the impressive international yacht harbour is only 3km. away. In Cala D'or you can also practice water sports or enjoy an excursion by boat to discover the pretty south-east coast of Majorca. Porto Petro a charming fishing village is about 6 km. away and the golf Golf course “Vall D’Or Golf” is within 10 minutes drive.
Outside
The exterior is spacious private and relaxing with a lovely lawned area with Mediterranean plants, tall palm trees that provide a nice shade and a garden with almond and orange trees. From the pool area you will enjoy gorgeous open views of the countryside and down to the sea. The patio that is pleasant and spacious has a nice covered terrace with a long wooden table, a brick built barbecue and a sink. There is also a toilet. The great pool with roman steps (10m x 5m, min 1.2m max 2 m) has a sun terrace around with sun beds to relax and enjoy the long summery days. The kids will also have fun with the swing and the table tennis. The property that is fenced has a gated driveway where you can park the car.
The farmhouse
Tanca is a simple typical Majorcan house that has kept part of its original character with high ceilings with wooden beams. It is simple furnished with a mix of wooden furniture and antique dark-wood Majorcan furniture.
From the main entrance you access into a spacious hall/lounge with antique furniture that connects to the bedrooms and kitchen. The open plan kitchen which is very spacious has a dining area with access onto the garden-terrace. On the ground floor there are also two double bedrooms with antique Majorcan furniture, both with en-suite bathrooms. On the first floor there's a second lounge with two large corner sofas with views over the pool and garden. This floor boasts two twin bedrooms that share a bathroom with a bath and a shower. There is also a side sun-terrace with great open views of the countryside and down to the sea at Cala D'Or.
All the bedrooms are air-conditioned cold/warm.
The first cot and highchair are included in the price.
