This beautiful country house offers our guests a unique vacation experience with complete privacy in a stunning environment.
Casa El Algarrobo offers total privacy, featuring a lovely and very private pool with a small waterfall and several terraces with a BBQ, pizza oven, and outdoor kitchen. Since the weather in this region is exceptionally mild all year round, you can usually enjoy cooking or having an aperitif outside. The terraces and the balcony allow you to enjoy both sun and shade throughout the day. There’s something for everyone. There are plenty of garden furniture pieces spread across various seating areas. The view of the Sierra Tejeda is truly phenomenal, so if you really want to relax, this is the place for you.
Casa El Algarrobo has a spacious and bright living room with a cozy open kitchen. There is an oven, microwave, double sink, electric stove, fridge/freezer combo, toaster, coffee maker, kettle, wine rack, and all necessary kitchen utensils. Next to the kitchen is a storage room with a pantry, washing machine, ironing board, and iron.
The bright living room has a cozy lounge area with a ceiling fan, radio-CD player with USB port, satellite TV, fireplace, and comfortable seating, including a double sofa bed. The dining area features a wooden table with typical Flamenco chairs and a cabinet. The bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with bunk beds, open onto a balcony with a fantastic view of the surroundings. There are wardrobes in both rooms. Bed linen is included in our rental price. The windows in the living room have screens and shutters. There is air conditioning, which is charged based on usage.
The bathroom has a very spacious walk-in shower, toilet, bidet, and sink and is fully tiled. All towels are also included in the rental price. Only large beach towels need to be brought by you or can be rented from us.
Casa El Algarrobo is located in the beautiful surroundings of Comares, voted a "Pueblo Mágico" of Spain, and near the hamlet of "Los Ventorros." In Los Ventorros, you will find bars and restaurants. In Comares, there is a supermarket, bakery (bread baked in a wood-fired oven!), pharmacy, bank, ATM, doctor's office, and various bars and restaurants. There is also a sports field and a padel court.
Comares is known for its unique location and is often called the "Pearl of the Axarquía." Follow the ceramic footprints through the narrow streets of this white village and discover its Moorish past. And don't forget to stop occasionally at one of the cozy bars.
Bread can be delivered to the house every day except Sunday.
Pets may be allowed, but only after consultation, and a stay fee must be paid. In just three-quarters of an hour's drive from the house, you will find the award-winning beach of Torre Del Mar. You can enjoy freshly caught fish at one of the many beachside "chiringuitos" and spend a day at the sea.
All the highlights of Andalusia are just a day trip away from the house. Málaga, Córdoba (Mezquita), Ronda, Granada (Alhambra), and the Caminito del Rey in Ardales can be easily visited. Closer by, you can visit Nerja, known for its beautiful caves and the Balcón de Europa. The commercial center of Vélez-Málaga is just a 30-minute drive away. Shopping enthusiasts will find everything they need here. All major supermarkets are also represented here.
The beauty of nature here is overwhelming and invites you to relax and enjoy. If you are looking for a vacation in complete privacy, surrounded by almond and olive groves with views of the impressive mountains, but not too far from restaurants and shops, Casa El Algarrobo is the ideal house for you. Upon arrival, we personally hand over the keys to our guests. After that, we offer you complete privacy. Should you need us during your stay, do not hesitate to contact us. We are just a phone call away.
There is a folder in the house with tourist information and important phone numbers. We will send you clear and accurate directions, and for those who wish, we can send the exact location or meet you on the way to the house. There are no dangerous roads leading to the house. The area is great for hiking, and many guests bring their mountain bikes. A car is necessary.
