Description

The pretty village of Comares has been voted ‘Pueblo Magico d’España’ and is often called ‘The pearl of the Axarquia’. It has cosy restaurants and bars, a supermarket, a bakery (bread baked in wood-oven!), banks, a pharmacy and ATM. Every morning there is a doctor present. Just outside the village you can enjoy the via ferratas of the biggest Tirolina in Spain. The magnificent surroundings invite you to hike, bike, mountain bike or just…relax and enjoy the views. You can go to Comares by car or by a 30-minute, absolutely stunning walk.The award-winning beach of Torre del Mar is only 30 minutes (approx) by car from the house. You can find many marvellous ‘chiringuitos’ (beach restaurants), where you can enjoy fresh fish that comes directly from the nearby fishing harbour of Caleta de Velez. Velez Málaga which is next to Torre del Mar has a big commercial centre. The beautiful lake of Viñuela lies approx. at a 40 minutes-drive from the house. You can hike around the lake and enjoy a good meal in one of the restaurants. Nerja, with its famous caves and the wellknown Balcon d’ Europa is about an hour-drive (approx) from the house. Málaga, pearl of gastronomy and culture is also just an hour away. Visit one of the many museums, visit a real Flamenco show or shop till you drop in the famous Calle Larios. Málaga has something to offer for everyone.Villa El Torcal 3 is also perfectly situated for visiting other parts of Andalusia. You can visit Ronda, Granada (Alhambra), Cordoba (Mezquita) or the world famous Caminito del Rey, during a day trip.All our villa’s are situated in wonderful natural environment and quiet village areas. Therefore these houses are ideal for holidays for families and groups who are looking for these characteristics and appreciate them. So please note that the villas are not suitable and available for noisy party holidays.Please note that the minimum age of the person making the reservation must be 25 years. Villa El Torcal 3 is a gorgeous villa for 8 persons with a private swimming pool that can be heated. The villa is just at a few minutes-walk from 2 excellent bars/restaurants and a 5 minutes-drive from the beautiful Andalusian town of Comares. A typical white mountain village which was voted ‘Pueblo magico d’España’, where you can experience the real Andalusian life.The house has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The master bedroom has its own private terrace, a marvellous space to enjoy breakfast surrounded by breathtaking views. There is a cosy living room with pellet burner and open fire.. The kitchen is separate and fully fitted with refrigerator/freezer, hob, oven, micro oven and all kitchen utensils. There’s also a dishwasher and a washing machine. There is FREE WIFI, tv and stereo. The patio doors open up to the pool area.There is lots of parking space. The air-conditioned swimming pool is open from 1 April to 15 November. Monthly rentals (28 days or more) do NOT include electricity, gas bottles (if required) and pellets for the pellets stove. It is possible to rent the villa monthly from January to March. Air conditioning costs: a package per week is included in your stay, after which you pay for what you use.
