Description

Sightseeing in Granada and taking the famous "tapas", but living calm and without parking problems at a typical Andalusian village house, which is at the same time a gallery–museum of an artist. Alfacar only 10 minutes to Granada centre and close to the natural park Sierra de Huetor. The apartments for 2-4 persons, are included in a restored house from the forties. It offers an outside patio with barbecue possibilities. They have a double bed-room, living-room with kitchen and a bath-room. There is a sofa bed. The public swimming-pool is at a 200 m distance from the house. We speek spanish, german and english, and we understand french, italian and portuguese. We can give you information about the city, special habits and tradition, the vicinity and the natural environment. Alfacar is at 7 km near the capital. It has a 914 m. average altitude and, despite its superficial dryness, it is rich in water, which makes its springs being well-known (Fuente Grande). It clos to the Sierra de Alfaguara, which belongs to the Sierra de Huetor Natural Park. Alfacar is also famous for the good bred in part baked in Arabian wood oven. It is adequate for nature tourism, both active or contemplative, integrated in a rural enviroment. Ideal starting point to visit the lots of historic sites and all the sightseeings, not only in Granada and its vicinity, also in cities like Córdoba or Ronda and the Sierra Nevada (ski-region: 38 km) or the Costa del Sol (Sea: 68 km).
