The Andalusian municipality of Mijas stretches for miles across the Costa del Sol to the mountainous hinterland of the Sierra de Mijas and is a very popular holiday region with almost 3000 hours of sunshine per year. Your historic center, the picturesque mountain village of Mijas, is about a 20-minute drive from your accommodation, at the foot of the 1150 m high mountain of the same name. Stroll through the picturesque streets with their typical Andalusian houses, which are decorated with blue flower pots and ornate grilles or enjoy the beautiful view of the valley and the sea from the viewpoint of El CompÁs.
