Welcome to this charming accommodation in Kungsgården. This house is a full 200 square meters, so there is room for the large family as well as room for two families! The house carries a rich history and is furnished in a rustic and tasteful style. There are 8 beds here and the whole house apart from the kitchen has underfloor heating. The fireplace in the kitchen contributes to a high cozy factor during holiday dinners. Here you will find all the comforts you need during your holiday.

The landlord tells: The old house with its grass roof rises like a living time machine, a window to bygone times in Gästrikland. It is as if the breath of history could be felt in every board and every straw on the roof. It is a house that carries a profound story, a story of the people who once called it home and of the generations that have shaped its existence. Here we stand before a silent testimony of the simple beauty and hard work that have marked people's lives. The wooden walls, decorated with time and wear, bear traces of generations who have lived and loved here. It's as if every creaking step on the floor echoes with laughter, conversation and everyday moments that have played out over the years.

To see and do in Kungsgården and the surrounding area
Kungsgården is characterized by beautiful natural surroundings and is located by Storsjön. The nearest bathing place is Korsikabadet, which is a grassy beach in a bay. Kungsgården is perhaps best known for the fact that Gustav Vasa stopped in the village during his escape from Danish soldiers. Traces of the event include Wasaparken, the place where he gathered people in the revolt against the Danish king. There is also a monument here.

The coastal pearl of Söderhamn is not far from Kungsgården and is perfect as an excursion destination. Another tip is to visit the UNESCOs world heritage site - the Hälsinge farm Erik-Anders, which is located in Asta close to Söderhamn. Erik-Anders consists of 6 farms and here there is an opportunity to take a coffee break.
