Description

Sjötorpet - unique accommodation by the sea in northern Öland! Welcome to rent our newly furnished cottage, which is built in a rustic style with a beautiful sedum roof. Sjötorpet is only a stone's throw from the sea. The cottage consists of a living room with a well-equipped kitchen, a bedroom with two spring beds (80 cm wide) and a bathroom with toilet and shower. We can only accommodate a maximum of two people without children and pets. Adjacent to the croft is a patio with garden furniture and a barbecue. Here you can enjoy beautiful sunsets in a secluded environment. Note. Max 2 people, pets are not allowed. Sjötorpet is only 50 meters from the sea in the middle of the Knisa marsh nature reserve. Rich opportunities for wonderful nature experiences are offered here. Around the bog there is a nature trail and a bird tower with a nice view of the reserve. Along the coast, you can take a trip on the beautiful cycle path. If you don't want to crowd Öland's large sandy beaches, there are nice outcrops here at Sjölunden where you can sunbathe in privacy. In addition, you have the option to book our barbecue area by the boathouse where you can enjoy beautiful sunsets! Sjölunden is two km south of Sandvik. It is a cozy fishing village with a boat harbour, sandy beach, fish shop/restaurant, souvenir shops and a well-stocked ICA shop. Here is also the Nordic region's largest windmill with a restaurant, pizzeria and a small cafeteria as well as mini golf. In the harbor there is also the Hamncaféet with a restaurant. Near Sandvik it is possible to rent bicycles.
