Stay in Casa Holamundo A romantic old stonehouse from 1900 The typical Ticino stone house from around 1900 CASA HOLAMUNDO in the picturesque Val Colla is a real gem. It is located in the middle of the Nucleo (old village centre). From the sunny, south-facing balcony you have a wonderful view of the wild forests of the valley. The town of Tesserete is 5 km away, Lugano can be reached by car or bus in about 30 min.? The vegetarian-run house is perfect for those seeking peace and quietness. It is a paradies for hiking lovers, climbers, mountainbikers and nature lovers. The accommodation CASA HOLAMUNDO is for exclusive rent. It can host from 1 - 4 people.  From the entrance a steep stone staircase leads to the first floor. Here is the living room with a fireplace. The living room is open to the kitchen and the bathroom behind it as well as to the staircase to the 2nd floor.? The kitchen is fully equipped including a dishwasher. We also offer spices, coffee and tea for free use. We kindly ask all guests not to prepare meat or fish dishes in the house (as CASA HOLAMUNDO is purely veg). The next guests will appreciate this.? On the 2nd floor there is a spacious bedroom (bed width: 1.40 m). From this room you can reach a room with a very low ceiling. It has a sofa bed (bed width: 1.80 m - for 2 people). This room is also excellent as a reading room (there is a small library) or for meditation.? The house has a fireplace which is available for free use. Parasols for the balcony are there for our guests. ? CASA HOLAMUNDO has its own parking space reserved only for our guests, about 200m from the house entrance. The house, which is located in the middle of the old village centre by the village well, can be reached from the car park via a narrow path and a few steps (easy to walk).? A bus stop is about 200m away and regular buses reach the town of Tesserete in about 15 min.. Be aware that our furry friends (animals) are not allowed due to hygenic reasons. The house is also not suitable for infants and disabled. Sorry for that, there are too many stairs!
