Description

A pleasant apartment in the centre of Lax with lovely views of the surrounding mountains, located close to the Aletscharena ski and hiking area between the cable cars to Bettmeralp and Fiesch-Eggishorn.  The train station and bus stop are opposite the apartment and take you directly to the cable car base stations in a few minutes.  The apartment sleeps up to 6 people with 3 large bedrooms (a double, a twin and one with bunkbeds). There are 2 bathrooms, a well-appointed kitchen, and a comfortable living area with WiFi and internet TV. There are 2 balconies and a private parking place, as well as a cellar with enough place for skis and bikes. In winter, the Fiesch-Eggishorn cable car is five minutes away by sports bus or train (included in ski pass), giving you access to the very attractive ski area and UNESCO World Heritage Site. From here you can ski the Aletsch Arena, where there are more than 100 km of well-prepared pistes as well as over 70 km of winter hiking trails, which transform into beautiful summer hikes for all levels. In summer, there are a wide range of activities to choose from guaranteed to keep everybody happy: hikes in the Binntal Nature Park; fantastic paragliding above the Aletesch glacier and into the Goms valley; downhill biking in Belalp or Bettmeralp, plus much, much more. It’s a perfect base for all your alpine adventures!
