The Maiensäss Pundelon in the middle of the imposing mountains of the Valle Mesolcina is the ideal base camp for nature lovers. Here you will find pure nature. Surrounded by meadows and forests, the Maiensäss offers you complete seclusion and absolute tranquillity. The Maiensäss offers space for up to 6 guests. Outside, a large terrace and various meadows around the house await you. Pets are allowed. The entire property is fenced, but not dog-proof - additional security may be necessary. There is a small workshop and a storage room for garden furniture in the basement. The surrounding area offers numerous activities such as hiking, biking and excursions into Ticino or towards San Bernardino. Discover the nearby grottos and the bathing opportunities along the Moesa river. In Mesocco, about 15 minutes away by car, you will find various restaurants and a grocery store. The accommodation can be reached by off-road car up to above the house, from there it is about 300 meters and 50 meters on foot. The Maiensäss is not easily accessible by public transport - the nearest bus stop is around 4 km away. The Maiensäss is only rented out during snow-free periods, as access is not guaranteed in winter. Anyone who is still interested is welcome to make an inquiry. The Maiensäss is not suitable for small children, as the terrain next to the house slopes very steeply and a stone wall borders the property. Important information The economical and careful use of water and solar power is very important. If you want/need to shower three times a day, you will certainly feel more comfortable in a property with a water and electricity connection.

The Maiensäss has two separate bedrooms. One with a double bed, the other with two bunk beds. The very spacious living room with large sofa, wood-burning stove and dining area is open to the well-equipped kitchen. The stove is heated with wood and also has an oven. There is also a gas coffee maker and a capsule coffee machine. There is no fridge; however, the cellar is cool enough for storing food and drinks. An additional, separate room with a table and corner bench is ideal for evening games. The bathroom has a shower with WC and washbasin. It is necessary to use water sparingly as the waste water has to be collected and transported away.
