Description
Our flat (50m2) is on the 1st floor of an apartment building, consists of a bedroom and a cosy living room where the sofa can be converted into a comfortable bed for 2 people. It has a spacious balcony and a very beautiful view of the surrounding mountains.
The flat has a modern and fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster, coffee machine (filter or Nespresso) etc.. Raclette oven and fondue set for our Swiss cheese specialities can be borrowed from the landlady on request.
First rubbish bag, washing-up liquid, dishwashing detergent, soap and other small items are available.
SAT-TV and Wlan free of charge.
The landlady lives directly in the flat next door, on the same floor. She is happy to answer questions, provide information about the region, excursions, railways, hiking trails etc. or whatever you need, and is happy to offer help if possible. She speaks German, English, French and Italian.
The south-facing balcony has a table and chairs with a deckchair for the many hours of sunshine and to enjoy the magnificent view of the surrounding mountains.
Parking space close to the house can be booked on request.
The costs (~CHF 8/day) are not included in the price.
Also not included in the price are the obligatory visitor's tax (CHF 4/adult person and day).
It is only a 5-minute walk from our house to the train station. The shuttle trains to Zermatt leave every 20 minutes during the day. In only 10 minutes the Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn takes you directly to the centre of Zermatt. The buses to the Zermatt mountain railways, which are free of charge for railway users, leave directly from the station. The Gornergratbahn takes you directly from the station to the skiing and/or hiking paradise.

The 10 km long cross-country ski trail between Täsch and Randa is very popular with skaters and classic specialists. There are many different terrains to discover in the well-prepared area of the Loipe Matterhorn.
9+ hole golf course with 18 hole course: The Golf Club Matterhorn near Täsch-Randa is nestled in the upper Mattertal, surrounded by the highest mountains in Switzerland.
The Schalisee (lake) lies on the flat valley floor near Täsch, surrounded by larches and open grassy areas. The ideal place to stay for families, for bathing, relaxing, picnicking and water skiing. Several idyllic fireplaces invite you to linger.
Täschalp: Some feel the place as a narrow mini mountain valley, others feel security and alpine romance. The mountains around it are high, the peaks barely visible. Further back in the valley: mountain landscape with pioneer vegetation untouched by man. Photo subject: Alpine farm with cows and cheese dairy, rich alpine flora, crystal-clear mountain stream called Mellichbach and the chapel.
