Description

Located in Val d'Illiez in the canton of Wallis at 1200 meters and under the Dents du Midi mountain range, the Chalet de Lara is surrounded by fir trees and mountains. The ski resort of Les Portes du Soleil is very close. The chalet borders a nature reserve, where a peaceful game is at home. The chalet was built in 1909 and completely renovated from 1996 to 1998, using quality materials and preserving the authentic style of the Swiss alpine chalet. The chalet has a total area of 180 m2, 3 bedrooms, a mezzanine, 2 living rooms, a kitchen, a dining room and 2 bathrooms. A flat-screen TV with Apple TV and a PS3 are also available. In summer you can benefit from the terrace and the garden and there is a barbecue grill. In Champery you can ski on Europe's largest ski resort, and rent mountain bikes in the summer. Geneva International Airport is 59 km from the property. The chalet is suitable for max. 5 adults and 2 children. Well-behaved pets are accepted at an extra charge.

The access to the Chalet can be difficult during the winter if there is a lot of snow. The road is cleared of snow up to 160 meters from the chalet and access by car is guaranteed until there. Afterwards you will have a few minutes walk, but once you get there you will encounter such a quietness that you will think you are alone on earth.

Please keep the chalet in a clean condition and clean the chalet before you leave. If the chalet is found to be in an unacceptable state at the end of your stay, we will be olbliged to charge you for the extra cleaning hours. Please note that we take care of the cleaning of the oven, and you do not need to clean it.
