A perfect way to spend a rainy day is to surround yourself with the beauty of the Bornholm Butterfly Park. This unique indoor experience allows visitors to see more than 1000 species of butterflies up close and personal as they fly freely among the guests. This park is also home to parrots and a bevy of tropical birds that also roam freely. The butterfly house includes lakes, waterfalls and large plants to give the guests the feeling of being enveloped by nature. The littlest of your clan will love the tropical fish and the rabbit petting area! 

Of course, a holiday on Bornholm would not be complete without a visit to its most famous beach, Dueodde. Boasting ultra-fine white sand, clear waters and sandbars which allow for both shallow and deep water near the shore, it is a sunbather’s dream and a swimmer’s delight. The views from the Dueodde lighthouse are definitely worth a trek up its stairs. The beacon is positioned perfectly to overlook the coast as well as all of southern Bornholm.
