This luxurious detached chalet for a maximum of 8 people is located in a quiet alpine village near the town of Stadl an der Mur in Styria and offers beautiful views of the surrounding mountain landscape. The chalet offers a modern open plan living/dining and kitchen area as the central room on the ground floor, 4 spacious bedrooms on the first floor, 2 bathrooms and a large, partially covered wooden terrace with wonderful views. There is also a ski storage room with ski boot warmer, a double carport, a washing machine and dryer. The chalet is 2 km from the center, shops and restaurants of Stadl an der Mur. 15 km away you will find a swimming lake and the historic town of Murau with a golf course. The landscape consists of mountain passes, small villages and forest areas. Especially in summer you can enjoy the many hiking trails that stretch through the mountains and along the crystal clear lakes. Stadl an der Mur itself has a charming flair with traditional Austrian houses and cozy restaurants. The Murau ski region consists of 2 ski areas: Lachtal and Kreischberg with a total of 88 kilometers of slopes and 23 ski lifts. The Kreischberg & Lachtal ski area is particularly popular as a family ski area. The Turracher Höhe ski area offers 43 kilometers of slopes and is one of the most snow-sure ski areas with an altitude of up to 2205 meters. Directly in Stadl an der Mur or in Murau there are enough shops for daily needs as well as a good selection of restaurants.
