With its beautiful view of the walk along the walls and its location right in the heart of Lucca, this apartment will plunge you directly into the town's atmosphere! Access to the apartment is via a shared balcony that runs along the façade of the house. Extremely bright, the 80 m apartment provides wonderful living space. The owners have furnished it in traditional style, while adding a few typical touches - such is the case with the pictures that are a reminder of the operas of Giacomo Puccini, an artist who is a symbol of Lucca. You can reach the walls and the walk along them right round the town in just a few minutes on foot. This is an extremely pleasant place to walk and explore both the town as seen from above and its numerous antique remains. The shops, restaurants and cafés are less than 5 minutes walk away. Tips from owner:
Cars: during day time, you may park your car in the paying car parks in the city centre or in the free car parks outside the centre (outside the city walls). Between 8 pm and 8 am, parking is free in the city centre. You may buy a monthly pass for the paying car parks in the city centre for about 50 / 100 Eur. Hosts will have the possibility to taste wine if they want it, check with the local agency. We invite you to visit the charming and cosy Osteria Tosca, located in the historical centre of Lucca, at Piazza Cittadella no. 8, in front of the Giacomo Puccini statue. The name "Tosca" was given to the restaurant in honour of Giacomo Puccini (one of his famous operas). There is an outdoor area located directly in the piazza and there is airconditioning inside. Osteria Tosca serves local specialities by always using seasanol fresh ingredients. The restaurant disposes also of a large wine selection - great care was taken to find small wineries with an excellent price quality standing. The prices for the good quality food are fair. The situation with regard to traffic and parking differs from one town to the other. It might occur that only paid parking possibilities are available in the holiday home's surroundings
