Country estate with a large, shared garden and a pool, in the Maremma The country estate is in the Maremma, near the coast. Owing to the rural location, outside the locality, it is an ideal place to slow down. There are three holiday units on the estate, furnished tastefully in a typical Tuscan style. In the main house, which was renovated according to ecological standards, there is an independent holiday apartment with a view of the surrounding hilly landscape. Below there is the owners’ apartment. An annex houses the second apartment with a veranda facing the garden. In front of it there is a smaller building with a guest room without a kitchen. The accommodation has heating, so is also suitable for a holiday in the Maremma in spring or in the autumn. Owing to the stone walls, they are pleasantly cool in summer and air conditioning is not required, but some fans are available. There is wireless Internet access. The garden of around a hectare is for the shared use of guests. Here you can find an unheated pool surrounded by a sun terrace with loungers, so you can relax and sunbathe. You can find pleasant shade under a furnished gazebo. There are some hammocks hanging between the trees in the garden, ideal for enjoying the peace and quiet with a good book. Some bicycles are available. There is a brick-built barbecue for leisurely grill evenings. There is a car parking space on site. The country estate comprises olive groves, vineyards and saffron fields, where you can go on lovely walks. Olive oil, saffron and wine can also be purchased on site. These products are cultivated organically and are certified by the CIAE. A cot is available. For stays of more than seven days, the apartments are cleaned and bed linen is changed weekly. If you would like cleaning in between, it is possible at a supplementary charge. The hosts occasionally arrange dinners with guests, so they can sample their own produce (payable). Breakfast can also be served at a supplementary charge. The country house is about a 20-minute drive from the Saturnia thermal baths. There is a supermarket in Manciano, whose centre is about 7km away. Here you can also find restaurants that serve typical Tuscan cuisine. The sea at Argentario is 19km away, within easy access.

The apartment features a furnished veranda with a wonderful view over the green hills. It also has a sink. This holiday apartment is in the main building. It is accessed up external stairs. The living room-kitchen features a rustic style and has a solid wood dining table, chairs and a sofa bed for two people. The antique fireplace can be used. The cooking space is well-equipped, including a gas stove, oven, dishwasher, kettle, toaster and coffee machine. There are two bedrooms each with their own bathroom: the green bedroom with a double bed (160 x 190cm) and the blue room with two single beds (90 x 190cm). Both bathrooms have a shower cubicle.
