We recommend a visit to the city of Gáldar with one of the most important archaeological sites of the Canary Islands: "La Cueva Pintada". You can visit an exhibit featuring art from Canary's native people. It is about 2 km to shops, grocery store, restaurants, internet cafes and the family friendly Sardina beach. There is a natural pool about 50 meters from the property. Waves constantly fill the pool with water. It is 10 km to the nearest ferry harbour, from where you can take a 60 minute boat trip to Tenerife. It is about a 25 minute drive to Las Palmas.
