The Garden Villa is located on the edge of the peaceful village of Guatiza, in the north of Lanzarote. It has no neighbours and there are countryside walks direct from the doorstep. It features a stunning private tropical garden, outdoor shower, BBQ and outdoor dining, chill out spaces in sun and shade, high speed fibre optic broadband, Internet TV system (all channels, films, live sport etc), wood burners x 2, large walk in shower, walking distance to Cactus Garden, short drive to beach at Arrieta. Short walk to local bars, restaurants and shops. The private courtyard garden has a built in barbecue, outdoor shower, several seating areas, sun loungers, a hammock and numerpous mature trees and palms. The garden is packed with tropical plants and palms including Mascarena palms, a triangle palm (dypsis decarii), archontophoenix, a red Latian palm, bananas, aloes, pachypodium, caryotis mitia, the lady palm, washingtonia, calistemon, jacaranda, havea brazilensis, Indian laurel tree, strelitza nicolae, alpinia zerumbet, hibiscus, firecracker, kangeroo paw and frangipani. Part of a 300 year old former farmhouse, the Garden Villa has been fully renovated and offers stylish and comfortable accommodation for four people in an idyllic and tranquil edge of village location, just a short drive from the beach at Arrieta and just five minutes’ stroll from Cesar Manrique´s world famous Cactus Garden.The Garden Villa is ideal for plant lovers as it boasts a large, lush and mature tropical courtyard garden featuring a wide array of palms, trees and shrubs. The Garden Villa offers guests total privacy and is divided into a number of different zones and chill out spaces, including a beautiful outdoor eating area with large built in BBQ and outdoor spa shower with sun loungers. Enabling guests to relax in style and enjoy a real feeling of outdoor living.Internally the property has been furnished and decorated to a high standard, offering guests free high-speed fibre optic Wi-Fi, Internet TV system and two wood burners for winter nights.The fully equipped kitchen has a dishwasher, microwave, washing machine, coffee maker and large fridge freezer, along with marble work surfaces gas hob and oven. The fully tiled bathroom has a large walk in shower and a separate dressing area with vanity table and chair, heated towel holders and floor to ceiling mirrors.There are two double bedrooms - the master is very large and has a large king size bed 180x200, wardrobe and chest of drawers. The second smaller bedroom has a king size bed and wardrobe. Beach towels are provided as well as bath towels and linen.The focal point of the Finca is an enormous kitchen/diner that has five-metre wide floor to ceiling sliding glass doors which open directly into the garden, offering amazing views, blending the indoors with the outdoors. This garden rooms houses a big kitchen/lounge/dining area and has a wood burner and Internet TV system. There is also a second lounge area which offers great, unspoiled views of the countryside and a wood burner. The village of Guatiza is home to the Cactus Garden, one of the creations of the Lanzarote artist Cesar Manrique and is just a short drive from the unspoiled beach at Arrieta. There are bars and restaurants within a short walk of the Finca and there are lovely walks from the front door in the surrounding countryside. 300 year old Finca with private off street parking.
