It is the ideal starting point for exploring the heart of Tuscany. Nearby, in the surrounding hills, are other charming medieval villages and the cities of Pisa, Lucca, Volterra, San Gimignano, Florence and the Chianti region are within easy reach. However, to really understand the charm one has to experience it in person. It is located in the heart of Tuscany, surrounded by enchanting hills. The communal swimming pool is perfect for a refreshing dip, while the furnished garden invites you to relax under the sun. Peccioli, the characteristic Tuscan village, is nearby, surrounded by hills decorated with cypress trees. Here you can take long walks in the midst of nature or follow one of the many cycle paths available. The beaches are only 45 km away, while famous cities such as Volterra, Siena and Pisa are within easy reach. Bicycles are available for exploring the surroundings, and Pisa airport is only 50 km away. A typical Tuscan dinner is organised every Monday, and pizza cooked in a wood-fired oven is prepared on Thursdays. On request, it is possible to participate in on-site wine tastings at any time.
