Holiday apartments in a family-like atmosphere on a farm with pool, near the birthplace of da Vinci Situated in the countryside around the home town of the famous genius Leonardo da Vinci, this estate offers a panoramic view over the valleys of Empoli, San Miniato and the afore-mentioned town named Vinci. Depending on how far the eye can see, you can also vaguely view Livorno, the Tyrrhenian Sea and the island of Gorgona in the distance. The location, among unspoiled nature and rural tranquility, allows guests to adapt to the rustic, rural pace of life and absorb the traditional Tuscan atmosphere. A stay here is the perfect antidote to the stress of modern, hectic city life. The entire property consists of five holiday apartments. They are located in old stone houses and give an authentic Tuscan ambience with fine chestnut wood beams and floors of clay tiles. All holiday apartments consist of a dining room with kitchen area, at least one bedroom and one shower bath. In addition, all apartment units have satellite TV, air conditioning, a washing machine and underfloor heating. Communally, all guests can use the pool and the spacious outdoor area. Furthermore, upon prior reservation, a grill and a wood-burning oven can be used to prepare delicious, regional meals. There is also a private parking area available for guests. On request, mountain bikes can also be hired. All apartments are very spacious and therefore offer the possibility of adding an extra bed for children of up to twelve years of age. This particular apartment extends over two floors. The different levels are connected to each other by an old staircase. The entrance is located in an archway. This area can also be used as a verandah. You can enjoy a marvellous panoramic view of the surrounding countryside from all the rooms. On the ground floor, you will find the spacious dining room with kitchen area and fireplace. There is also a spacious living room with a window to the archway, a sofa and a sofa bed. The first floor serves as a sleeping area. A double room and a room with two single beds, which can be put together on request, are available to guests. On this floor, there are also two bathrooms with shower and hot tub.
